Our STORY

Andrea Rafferty-Schuette, owner of Knitter’s Knitch, was so inspired and encouraged by the Blairsville knitting community to continue the tradition of having a yarn store here in Blairsville, Georgia and the North Georgia Mountain area after Tres Sheep closed that she opened Knitter's Knitch on December 10th, 2013.

Since opening, Knitter’s Knitch has introduced so many new yarns for your knitting and crochet needs at all price points with lots of patterns and books for project support.  

On going classes are offered during week at all skill levels. In addition to this, specialty classes, knit-alongs and special events are held throughout the year.

Knitter’s Knitch also has a social knitting time on Friday's from 10am-12pm. This is a fun group with lots of laughs, some gossip and knitting. In addition, there are several open knitting sessions where you can come and work on your projects.
